Web Designer

We’re looking for a talented Web Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Designer at Tricentis, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining visually compelling, user-friendly, and conversion-driven web experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with our developers, marketers, and content teams to ensure our website effectively communicates our brand and drives engagement. 

  

The web designer will also be creating animations to support various media projects, including our website, advertising banners and social graphics. 
  

This role will be directly involved in the creative design process from concept to execution reporting to the Senior Manager, Creative. You will join a team of three other designers and will collaborate with colleagues across the company, including product, field and partner marketing teams, the website team, and others, to create high-quality designs that convey concepts, messages, and data, within our brand and style guidelines. 

  

Responsibilities: 
 

Design 

Design visually appealing and functional website pages, ensuring alignment with our branding and our business goals. 

Design wireframes, website mockups and other related graphics for desktop, mobile and all other breakpoints based on creative briefs and other materials. 

Implement UI/UX best practices to enhance usability and engagement. 

Develop and maintain design systems, iconography and style guides to streamline future projects. 

Create templates and libraries of graphics/icons for self-service use in Figma. 

Create and edit videos or motion design for our website and social networks and advertising. 
 

Cross-functional collaboration 

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing and developers, to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions. 

Participate in brainstorming and design critique sessions to refine concepts and approaches. 

Collaborate with developers to integrate back-end functionality with front-end designs. 
 
 

Quality assurance & optimization 

Prepare and optimize design files to properly hand-off to developers, considering website speed and image quality. 

Troubleshoot and work with the developers to resolve bugs and technical issues. 
 

Project management 

Prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines. 

Provide regular updates to stakeholders and document progress and technical decisions. 

 

Other 

Perform other duties as needed. 

Tracking trends and analyzing the visual aspects of the market. 

 

Qualifications: 
 

Bachelor’s degree in design-related discipline 

You have a minimum 2 years of equivalent business-related work experience (B2B). 

Excellent written and spoken English. 

Mastering Figma and Adobe Creative Photoshop and Illustrator. 

Experienced in video creation and motion design (After Effects, Premiere, Animate). 

Experience building style guides, design systems, and processes. 

Expert knowledge of responsive design. 

Experience with WordPress theming. 

Knowledge of HTML and CSS, front-end environment, and frameworks. 

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and flexibility to manage the unexpected. 

Experienced working in interdisciplinary teams. 

Ability to perform in a fast-paced and high-impact work environment. 

A clean design is part of your DNA. 

Your portfolio showcases engaging, elegant, and functional designs. 

Familiar with UX methodologies a plus. 

Mastering prompting and generative AI are a plus.
