DescriptionIf you are an experienced web developer who wants to work in a highly collaborative environment and wish to develop and improve web applications as well as the services that support them — join AirHelp!! We are interested in someone who will do more than just follow our lead and write code based on presented information —  in our environment, we promote a high level of ownership and proactivity. In this role, you’ll have the possibility to test many solutions and work with various technologies and tools, including:
\nReact.js - our leading technology\nChakra UI + Storybook - components library used by several teams at AirHelp\nReact Testing Library, Vitest and Cypress - tools we use for creating automated tests\nRuby on Rails - for backend services\nPostgreSQL - our primary database solution\nAmazon Web Services/Kubernetes - for cloud infrastructure and container orchestration\nGitHub (including GitHub Copilot), Jira, Confluence\nELK/Grafana, Sentry - monitoring and logging tools\nFigma\nOptimizely, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics\n

What you will do:\nImprove user flows to increase conversion rates and enhance the overall user experience.\nImprove the user experience of our funnels based on requirements and your own initiatives.\nSupport the development of web views for the mobile app, ensuring seamless integration and a consistent experience across platforms.\nWork closely with designers, the localization team, and other stakeholders to deliver the best possible user experience.\nCollaborate closely with the Product Manager to understand customer needs and influence product direction.\nSet up and manage A/B tests to validate ideas and improve performance.\nGradually enhance and suggest improvements to the architecture of our applications to ensure scalability and maintainability.\nWrite clean, testable, and maintainable code.\nPromote good engineering practices and help raise the bar for code quality and team standards.\nReview code contributed by your team members and provide constructive feedback.\n\n

Ideally, you'll bring with you:\nCommercial experience in building and maintaining web applications with React.\nVery good knowledge of TypeScript, React, HTML5 and CSS3.\nVery good knowledge of the latest JavaScript standards and experience with TypeScript.\nExperience with backend technologies, preferably Ruby on Rails\nEagerness to work with different technologies and languages and learn new things.\nVery good command of English (both spoken and written).\n
Nice to have: \nExperience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools\nExperience with Amazon Web Services\nExperience with tools like ELK/Grafana and Sentry\n
