Short Description:
The Programmer is responsible for working within a multidisciplinary team to develop, produce and maintain web sites and web applications in support of the GIC mission of enhancing communications between Delawareans and their government.
Complete Description:
The Programmer will work with the Division of Communications to build a website for public safety communications new LTE project. The Programmer will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of a new web site owned by the states Division of Communications.
Years of Relevant Experience: 5 to 8 years in website development and programming
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study. Experience in Public Safety Communications.
Role Description:
•Plan and implement all required process steps required to build a website within state parameters.
•Review and understand the Application Team’s workplan.
•Provide status of work to the Division Director
•Engage in ongoing process improvement.
•Detailed functional and process knowledge.
•Utilize deep modeling, design and coding skills.
•Provide expertise in one or more database environments.
