Short Description:
The Programmer is responsible for working within a multidisciplinary team to develop, produce and maintain web sites and web applications in support of the GIC mission of enhancing communications between Delawareans and their government.
Complete Description:
The Programmer will work with the GIC team to create web sites for State of Delaware government agencies, assist in UX/design of applications developed by 3rd party partners for the state, and perform a series of website migration projects to move state agencies from an old “common look and feel” to a new, responsive CLF design using HTML5 and RSS.
The Programmer will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of web sites and applications owned by the state. The Programmer will be involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work focused on enhancing communication between the state and Delaware’s residents, businesses and visitors.
Years of Relevant Experience: 5 to 8 years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
