As our WordPress and Shopify Web Developer, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and managing our websites to support our brand and marketing objectives.
The ideal candidate for this position is motivated by challenges, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, autonomous and comfortable working within a remote team and reporting to a remote manager while receiving onsite support from a local supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
Website Development and Management: Develop, update, and maintain our WordPress and Shopify sites, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and digital marketing goals.
Customization and Optimization: Customize themes, implement plugins, and optimize for mobile responsiveness, site speed, and SEO in collaboration with our SEO advisor.
E-commerce Integration: Manage product listings, payment gateway integration, and checkout processes on Shopify to support our e-commerce strategies.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support to resolve website issues quickly, liaising with team member
Qualifications
Proven Experience in WordPress and Shopify website development
Technical Skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP; experience with Shopify Liquid is a plus
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of design, usability, and quality
Collaboration and Communication: Strong team and communication skills to work effectively with both remote and onsite team members

About us
Canam Group Romania began in Brasov as a small detailing office in 1998 which afterwards became a major company on the Brasov market with its own building and more than 400 employees. In 2024, we expanded our presence in Romania by opening a second office in Cluj-Napoca.
While our teams provide 3D modeling, detailing and estimation services for the construction industry such as buildings, steel structures and bridges, we also provide various technical services for other industries as well. The main market is in North America, yet we are also expanding our services in other markets.
We also have our own IT team developing software for internal use.
