You will manage content management and setup website presences, support online communication tasks, coordinate, and support website related projects, manage project plans and follow up on milestones with project stakeholders. All your activities are closely aligned to our (technical) governance, branding and design guidelines. Following these guidelines in combination with your know-how and creativeness, you will be offering your consulting and take over creation and updating of website collections and individual pages, according to our standards. You will provide solutions to meet client’s needs from simple updates and content exchanges to customized solutions.
The team you are working in is responsible to enable Merck colleagues in the need for IT support and maintenance of external and internal webpages as well as usage of the dedicated website tools (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, SiteImprove, Form Assembly). You will be involved in content management administration (Adobe Experience Manager), planning, realization, coordination of different pages, updating content and creating their layouts. Therefore, you will communicate with internal clients and coordinate within several web projects.
Your Role:
Creating website page for the company and EMD group like press release pages, article pages, and similar pages.Updating webpage content, layout, components, and page properties.Uploading Assets (such as PDF, image, videos, docs file).Embedding of forms, videos, and other uploaded assets.Use of project management tools like Service Now, JIRA and the likes.
Who You Are:
Educational Background: A graduate of any IT or Computer Science course.Relevant Work Experience: 2-4 years of work experience in content management, web development, or a related field, with a proven track record in the same or similar roles. Experience in Content Management: Proven ability to manage and update website content, including creating and updating pages, press releases, articles, and similar content in line with branding and design guidelines.Strong Technical Skills: Proficient in uploading and embedding assets (PDFs, images, videos, documents, etc.) and updating web page components, layouts, and properties.Project Management Tools: Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Service Now, JIRA, or similar platforms for tracking milestones and coordinating website-related projects.Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow technical governance, branding, and design guidelines while ensuring accuracy in website content and page layout.Problem-Solving & Creativity: Ability to offer creative solutions for both simple updates and more customized solutions based on client needs, ensuring a seamless user experience.Collaboration & Communication Skills: Experience in coordinating with stakeholders and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
