We are looking for an experienced Web/Software Developer to join our team and provide web/software engineering in an Agile development environment as part of an integrated contractor-government team developing software for tactical weapons systems.

Travel Negligible Clearance

A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements United States CitizenshipACTIVE Secret ClearanceAt least 8 years of experience writing and delivering softwareExperience with Object Oriented Languages (C#, Java)Experience using .NET SDKs (at least .NET 6 or newer)Knowledge of Weapon Systems and Command & Control Systems Responsibilities Computer Vision Algorithm Development: Strong background in computer vision, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying computer vision algorithms and models in production environmentsDesign, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms for various applications, including object detection, image segmentation, and image recognitionDeep Learning: Apply deep learning techniques, including convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs), to solve complex computer vision problemsData Collection and Annotation: Oversee data collection efforts and collaborate with teams to annotate and preprocess datasets for computer vision tasksModel Training and Evaluation: Train and fine-tune computer vision models, and establish robust evaluation methodologies to assess their accuracy and performanceIntegration: Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into products and servicesOptimization: Optimize computer vision algorithms for real-time and resource-constrained environmentsDeployment: Deploy computer vision systems into production, ensuring scalability and reliability Preferred Skills and Experience Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing range/field environment with a focus on fielding a productAbility to work with others to meet established goals and program schedulesAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Education A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required Compensation

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.  

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
