Why does this role exist?
This role is critical for ensuring the seamless development, maintenance, and transition of the client’s proprietary app built on the Wix platform. The company is undergoing a key personnel change, with their current marketing director (who has been managing app development) departing. They need a skilled, reliable specialist to take over app management and coding responsibilities, integrate and maintain Google Sheets and other third-party tools, and ensure uninterrupted functionality and ongoing improvements. The goal is to support client operations with a technically proficient part-time resource who can independently manage and enhance the app environment.
The Impact you’ll makeApp Development & Maintenance\nDevelop, update, and maintain the client’s web-based app on the Wix platform\nImplement coding solutions to enhance app functionality and user experience\nEnsure smooth integration between Wix apps and external tools like Google Sheets\nIntegration Management\nManage and troubleshoot Google Sheets integrations with apps and websites\nCoordinate workflows involving Apple Developer and TestFlight for app testing and deployment\nTransition & Knowledge Transfer\nCollaborate with the outgoing marketing director to understand existing app architecture and workflows\nDocument processes and system configurations to ensure knowledge continuity\nProvide support during the transition to minimize disruption\nTechnical Support & Troubleshooting\nIdentify and resolve technical issues related to the Wix platform and integrations\nMonitor app performance and recommend improvements or updates as needed\nCollaboration & Communication\nWork closely with customer success managers and internal teams to understand evolving requirements\nCommunicate progress and challenges clearly and proactively\n
