What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Web Developer Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, where the individual will support website upgrades and maintenance for programs within the Department of Defense. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining and updating internal client website, including making changes using its content management system (CMS) as well as using HTML.
Leading project planning for a client intranet website upgrade effort.
Leading testing and troubleshooting during a website upgrade.
Identifying and troubleshooting issues in code during testing.
Updating code and fixing bugs during testing in development environment.
Organizing and leading client meetings, including scheduling meetings; drafting and delivering agendas and meeting minutes; providing and archiving required documentation; and documenting, tracking, and following up on action items
Summarizing and presenting information and reports to the team and make recommendations (both oral and written).
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Secret Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor's Degree
THREE (3) or more years' experience in web development and programming-related experience
Experience with HTML; such that you can make basic updates to a website and support a website upgrade
Experience with website migrations and testing
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience with Adobe ColdFusion
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Experience consulting for the Department of Defense or other Federal agencies
Experience leading teams focused on testing and QA during website upgrades
Experience developing new and re-designing existing functionality to meet new and/or evolving business requirements
Ability to provide guidance and direction for specific projects or sub-tasks
Capability to manage multi-task projects
Experience analyzing and defining system requirements
Ability to facilitate meetings and present topics to diverse groups of functional and technical staff
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Ability to anticipate and respond to management and client needs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within an organization
