The Web Development Manager will develop, test and maintain high-quality user interfaces using modern front-end technologies. The role is responsible for some design background and translating UI/UX designs into code, producing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Work with the creative and content teams, product and technology teams to bring creative experiences to life online. Optimize websites for different breakpoints using responsive design. Ensure technical feasibility of UX/UI designs.Ensure sites function across different browsers. Run tests to ensure optimal site performance and speed as well as ensuring all functionality is working appropriately. Responsible for version control:  documenting controls, revisions, and source information.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field6+ years of front-end web development experienceHTML, CSS and JavaScript experienceExperience working with visual studio codeExperience working with GitExperience using Figma, Adobe XD and other Adobe Creative Suite applicationsAbility to test and debug websitesExperience working with BootstrapGood understanding of SEO principles and ensuring appropriate applications adhere to them

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
