Description:

• 5+ years of web/java applications development and deployment experience preferably in open source environments (apache tomcat/jboss)
• Experience compiling, building apache httpd 2.x
• Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting apache tomcat 6.x or jboss 8
• Strong Linux shell/perl/python scripting skills for deployment and automation work
• Ruby or Lua knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge and good understanding of SOAP, RESTFUL web services
• Knowledge of nagios monitoring software is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills for J2EE application servers
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to triage and execute tasks efficiently, ability to multi-task
• Working effectively with teammates and customers located offsite
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written), ability to work with a global team
