JOB SUMMARY:

Polaris, a global powersports leader, is looking for a Web QA Automation Engineer to ensure high quality Dealer-facing websites.  As a Web QA Automation Engineer on the team, you will be responsible for building robust automated testing solutions that regularly exercise full system functionality and ensure project requirements are implemented properly.  The ideal candidate is effective in a fast-paced Agile development environment, is fresh on industry best practices and automated testing standards and is passionate about delivering quality products to customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, maintain, and communicate meaningful functional test plans that holistically analyze websites on all major supported web browser platformsThoroughly document issues found, assign proper severity, and drive resolutionExecute regression testing to support software releases to customersIntegrate automated testing solutions into continuous integration pipelines or equivalentSupport, maintain and administer cloud testing solutionsAnalyze system performance for bottlenecksBoost unit, integration, and regression testing coverageAdopt and mature project’s best practices and coding standardsHave a customer-focused mindset for delivering a product that is centered around a great customer experienceBe an active participant in and help enhance a mature agile environmentSupport manual testing as neededExplore new methods and tools for automated testingFlexible enough to work on products being produced for a fast-changing market

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years of automated testing experience3+ years of experience delivering highly effective automated testing solutions using Selenium WebDriverProven experience in building ground-up automation solutions to drive product qualityKnowledge of API testing tools that require strong coding skills to create testsPostman ExperiencePerformance testing experienceExperience implementing and supporting continuous integration testing solutionsFamiliarity with defect tracking and task creation tools like JIRAStrong background and knowledge in automated, system, smoke, black box, integration, and unit testingExperience with Agile development methods such as Scrum and KanbanAbility to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errorsBachelor’s degree in computer science or similar degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Script and tool writing experience to aid in test suite executionBrowserstack ExperienceTest Rail ExperienceApache JMeter and BlazeMeter ExperienceDev/Ops knowledge

Nice to Have:

Selenium WebDriver experience in a C# environment
