The GIS Application Developer will develop and refine essential UMD web mapping system application features functions and user interfaces for use with Facilities Management FM and campus wide GIS applications and will assist the Enterprise GIS Manager in the maintenance of the official UMD campus web mapping and enterprise GIS systems The GIS Applications Developer will receive minimal supervision while managing general GIS systems programming workload and the enterprise GIS application development environment The position works closely with the GIS application development team and FM Information Technology Services FM ITS the Division of Information Technology DIT staff
