Job Description

A Developer in the EDI Functional Development Group creates, maintains and supports EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) business translations that exchange electronic messages with internal Expeditors' systems, government agencies and with Expeditors' clients. Developers work in conjunction with Systems Analysts and Customer Integration Managers to produce the highest quality product for our customers.

Qualifications

Major Duties and Responsibilities:  

Work on new and maintain existing EDI translationsCode translations based on map specificationsFulfill testing requirementsEnsure project deadlines are metPerform code reviews for other developersFollow guidelines and procedures for code installationComplete supporting file, directory, and communication setupsMonitor all code installationsEnsure WebMethods systems are operating successfully and efficientlyParticipate in supporting WebMethods translations
