Public Affairs is seeking a Web Developer/Designer to design web materials and to incorporate available and emerging technology to help foster informative and efficient internal and external communication for the Virginia Department of Social Services.

Demonstrated experience as a webmaster in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the overall structure of an organization’s public website, Intranet, and enterprise content management system;  considerable knowledge of web design concepts and standards; considerable knowledge of web based information security practices; considerable experience in the front end web design, development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or JavaScript-based libraries; considerable experience with back-end web development such as ASP.NET, PHP, PHP frameworks, XML, and/or other modern web technologies, protocols, and services;  ability to communicate verbally and in writing with diverse audiences.
