Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Website Development Manager for the University Brand, Mktg, & Creative Services department. This position reports to the Assistant Vice President of Brand and Marketing.
Among the key duties of the position are the following: Handles technical development and maintenance oversight for the Rutgers.edu website, which is the central university-wide website. Oversees and contributes to the technical development and site integrity to deliver an effective, user friendly website for Rutgers. Oversees the resources and processes that support the technical development and maintenance of the Rutgers Core Component Library (RCCL) platform. Leads or contributes to different types of technical projects, including Drupal migrations in addition to other Drupal related development tasks. Contributes to technical documentation when requested and ensures all code changes and updates are properly documented according to the unit’s governance processes. Develops standards, recommends and creates processes, and supports related documentation. Sets schedules for new projects, ensuring the quality and timeliness of technical deliverables and projects related to websites and web-based applications that UCM oversees.
