Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement enterprise applications using IBM WebSphere middleware technology and related tools such as IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere MQ, and IBM WebSphere Message Broker Migrate legacy applications from Easytrieve to COBOL in the cloud Design and develop new software solutions based on business requirements Develop technical specifications and test plans Provide technical support to end - users Perform system and application analysis and design Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain software solutions Stay current with industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field At least 5 years of experience in IBM WebSphere development Experience in COBOL and Easytrieve development Experience with IBM Websphere tools such as IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM WebSphere MQ, and IBM WebSphere Message Broker Experience in cloud migration and re-writing legacy applications from Easytrieve to COBOL in the cloud Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus
