We are 500 strong, and are currently focused on helping our customers to modernize their aging Java 8-based applications into a few new, innovative options we've made available in the past year. As we've pivoted our innovation strategy, we've also identified the need to modernize our ways of working. As a team, we've aligned on a derivative of Agile, focused on strong market research, well written requirements, explicit prioritization on 3 different planning horizons, and regular validation with clients to get outside-in course correction. Driving this amount of change into a 500 person organization is significant transformation, and requires a strong leader who brings passion, empathy, and credibility as they show up to the broader organization. The Application Runtimes team is seeking a product operations leader to drive transformation across a 500 person organization, with the objective of increasing developer productivity and velocity, and increasing speed to delightful product experience. This person will also serve as the leader of the WebSphere Application Server product management team. Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 5 years People management experience. * 5 years Transformation experience. * Agile/Scrum Certification. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Product Management experience preferred
