Weekend RN Supervisor

Looking for a qualified RN Weekend Supervisor to join our team! \n

We are searching for a weekend RN Supervisor to join our community that is patient & family focused, team builder, and excited about the opportunity to assist in building a culture. \n

As a Consulate Health Care RN Supervisor, you are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for our residents, families, co-workers, visitors, and all others. The primary purpose of your position is for managing the staffing needs and providing supervision for nursing staff providing direct resident care to ensure quality resident care on the assigned unit. \n

STATUS: non-exempt\/PRN\n

SHIFT: weekends only\/8 hour shifts\n

Job Function:\n\nYou are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.\nResponsible for providing direct resident care in accordance with established plans.\nSupervises facility nursing staff.\n\n

Major Responsibilities:
\n\nProvide regular resident status updates to appropriate personnel.\nComply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation of CHC guidelines.\nMaintain ongoing communications with physicians concerning resident care.\nProvide supervision\/counseling as needed and facilitate problem solving and open communications with the nursing staff.\nAssist nursing personnel to act in compliance with corporate policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.\nEnsure effective interactions with patients and families.\nMonitor compliance with resident record documentation requirments, as directed.\n\n

Specific Requirements:\n\nMust possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.\nMust be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.\nMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.\nMust possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.\nMust be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition. \n\n

Minimum Qualifications:\n\nMust have a minimum of three (3) years nursing experience in a setting serving the same age\/type of resident population served by this facility. (preferred)\n Minimum of one (1) year experience in nursing administration.\n\n
