The Scheduler works alongside the operations team to prepare, manage, and coordinate all the scheduling activities for the employees in Edmonton. With exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. The ideal candidate would work closely with our operations to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed on time.

What does a Scheduler in Edmonton do?

 

Prepare, manage, and coordinate all the scheduling requirements for the different clients we supply security for Ensure all sites/shifts are covered as scheduled and in accordance with client requirements Use scheduling software to input client requirements and update employee schedules Ensure a high level of accuracy of data input into the scheduling program, ensuring that new or more accurate information is diligently input, and all input deadlines are met Provide exceptional customer service to employees and clients Collaborate with the team to reduce overtime Scheduler is to ensure that all communication is documented in gsked in the note section of all offered work and reply with the guards Scheduler is to ensure that confirmation of work is provided to the guard via confirmation email (this would also include any Averaging Agreement for the guard)

 

Qualification to become a Scheduler in Edmonton

 

Previous scheduling or administration experience is an asset Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, as well as experience using scheduling software High school diploma or GED Ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle working under pressure
