Main purpose of job: 
The Weighbridge Supervisor will manage the day-to-day operations of the weighbridge to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes tracking incoming deliveries, making sure all paperwork and records are accurate, and producing reports to monitor key site activities. 

 

You’ll work closely with other teams to make sure everything is compliant with legal requirements and company standards. The goal is to help improve performance in areas like safety, quality, and reducing environmental impact.

 

Your responsibilities will include:
•    Oversee the reception of bulk and non-bulk waste, ensuring all documentation (e.g. consignment notes) is accurate and hazards are identified. Handle any issues such as non-conformances or rejected loads.
•    Communicate with different teams across the business to resolve any issues that arise on-site.
•    Prepare and submit the Daily Revenue Report to senior management.
•    Generate and manage reports and metrics to support departmental and business operations.
•    Assist with stock control and ensure compliance with regulations.
•    Operate the weighbridge when needed.
•    Support and coordinate with site security contractors.
•    Manage and control customer samples.
•    Create, review, and update procedures when required.
•    Assist in administration and sign off of Destruction Certificates.
