Job Description
Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:
Develop and coordinate marketing and communication efforts (e.g. video, written copy, social media, promotional items, and digital assets) pertaining to new student orientation and transition programs.Review and edit a variety of media and marketing content with a high level of attention to detail.Provide artistic direction and design for a variety of marketing efforts to reach goal demographic.Maintain brand standards and ensure consistency across campaigns.Maintain and expand knowledge of marketing practices, processes, and relevant trends.Track and maintain lists for relevant communications and programs.Collect and analyze data through a variety of means (e.g., surveys, focus groups) to provide feedback for management in assessing the effectiveness of student leadership activities.Assist in day-of coordination of Welcome Week, Spring Welcome Week, Lopes Out, Fostering Futures, Family Weekend, Lope Family Programs, and other programs as necessary.Other duties as assigned.Equipment Used and Responsibility
MS Office Suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Social media and design platforms (Instagram, Hootsuite, Canva, Squarespace, etc.)Supervisory Responsibilities
Assist with the management of student workers and provide direction for program responsibilities and tasks.
Experience/ Education
Bachelor’s degree required from a regionally accredited institution, preferably in marketing or communications.1-year experience in marketing-related role.Must have valid driver’s license.Flexibility to work varying schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends when necessary.Must be able to pass pre-employment background investigation.Physical Requirements:
