Location: Delhi, NY Category: Active Student Jobs Posted On: Wed Jan 15 2025 Job Description: SUNY Delhi seeks students who are energetic, familiar with college programs, and interested in working with faculty, staff and students to assist with Welcome Week activities. Responsibilities include: + answering new student questions + facilitating small group discussions and recreational activities + referring students to appropriate faculty and staff + working with students/families/friends to help them become comfortable at SUNY Delhi + assisting with Welcome Weekend programs, information sessions, entertainment programs + Serve as a positive role model throughout the period of obligation. + connecting with new students through email and by attending college events through the first three weeks of the semester. Job Requirements: + Have and maintain an overall 2.25 or higher gpa + Be in good judicial standing with the College. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Familiarity with college programs + The ability to work well with faculty, staff and students, and + Have a sense of humor and stamina! Additional Information: Compensation: + Students will receive a stipend of $1,200 for working as Orientation Leaders, which is paid over the course of obligation. A stipend of $600 will be submitted at the conclusion of Welcome Week.
