We are interviewing for Welders on 2nd and 3rd shift.

\n

The interview will consist of a 3G GTAW (Tig) aluminum plate test. The plate test is an aluminum ½” thick 3G V groove plate test on backing. There is a 90-minute window to complete and then it’s proceeded by a 30 minute panel interview.

\n

Compensation:

This job comes with a $3,000 sign on bonus.

*Pay range is $22.67 to $35.42 based on experience. $2.00 shift differential for 3rd shift*

\n2nd Shift:            3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
\n3rd Shift:            11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

As a Production Welding Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our welding processes at our Palmetto, Florida location. You will be accountable for performing welding operations, inspecting welds for defects, and maintaining welding equipment. Your expertise in welding techniques and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business unit and help us deliver high-quality products to our customers.

\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\n\tPerform welding operations according to specifications and standards.\n\tPerform fitting, cutting, and grinding operations as needed.\n\tInspect welds for defects and ensure compliance with quality requirements.\n\tMaintain welding equipment and troubleshoot any issues.\n\tFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.\n\tWork with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\n\tExperience and knowledge of GTAW, GMAW and FCAW welding processes.\n\tStrong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment, aluminum welding experience required.\n\tProficiency in reading and interpreting welding blueprints and specifications.\n\tStrong knowledge of AWS welding symbols.\n\tAttention to detail and ability to inspect work. \n\tAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.\n\tBasic knowledge of math, geometry, and angles. \n\tFamiliar with using the metric system.\n\tAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\n\n

\nWE VALUE

\n\n\tPressure vessel manufacturing in accordance with ASME Section VIII div. 1 code.\n\tPipe fitting and welding in accordance with B31.3 Process piping code.\n\tNDE experience (Penetrant testing)\n\tExperience with mechanized welding techniques (SAW).\n\tStrong problem-solving skills.\n\t3+ years of experience preferred.\n\n
