**Job Description** This position is on the 2nd Shift (3:20pm-10:20pm) at a rate of $24/hr plus a $1.35 premium, totaling $25.35/hr. The typical work week is about 50 hours, usually from Monday to Friday, with potential for Saturday overtime. + This is a TIG Welding position where you will be welding Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel seats for various industries. + You will be standing and welding, not sitting. You will perform welds on T joints, 1 to 2 inches long, including Fillet, Flat Group, and Horizontal welds. + There will also be minimal Short Arc transfer and MIG welding involved. + Day to Day: Retrieve work order kit and follow blueprint directions to TIG and MIG weld seats together in your own weld booth. + You will use a welding machine for both MIG and TIG. 65% of your day will be spent on TIG welding. **Hard Skills** + TIG welding + Blueprint Reading + Read Tape Measure **Work Environment** This is a permanent position. This is a fully on-site position in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The facility is an older building with a weld shop environment, which can be dirty. Each welder has their own welding cell, but they are close to each other.
