Our client is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their dynamic team. The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for welding and fabricating to meet customer specifications. They will work as part of a team, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard of quality, safety, and efficiency. The Welder will be responsible for reading technical drawings and schematics and using a range of welding techniques and tools to complete the job.

The Day-to-Day:

Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Use a variety of welding techniques to fabricate truck bodies, including MIG.Cut and fit metal components using machines and power tools.Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety.Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.Work as part of a team to ensure that projects are completed on time.Assure area cleanliness.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in welding and fabricationExperience working with sheet metal, aluminum, and steel.Ability to use a range of hand and power tools.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and clients.Strong focus on safety at all times.

Pay Rate:

$20.00 /hr

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday - 6:00 AM to 3:30 PMFriday - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PMSaturday - 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM
