We are currently seeking an experienced Welder based at our Windsor, CT location.
**_What Will You Do?_**
+ Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
+ Perform TIG and MIG welding on a daily basis
+ Reviews blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes
+ Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers
+ Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum and stainless steel
+ Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding
+ Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area
**_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_**
Standing, stooping, bending. Able to lift up to 25lbs. Wear PPE which includes welding helmet.
**_Your Experience Should Be..._**
High school diploma or GED.
+ 5 plus years of welding experience.
+ Must possess mechanical aptitude
+ Current and valid certification a plus
+ Ability to work overtime as needed.
