Weekly pay starts at $27.00 per hour. Apply now and schedule an immediate interview! + High School Diploma or GED + Valid certificate in Welding from an accredited institution + 1+ years’ Tig Welding, both DC and AC (GTAW), pulsed TIG Welding (GTAW-P), stick welding (SMAW) and Oxy-Acetylene Torch experience required + Experience operating hoist and power lift stand + Experience reading and interpreting welding prints + Basic mechanical skills with ability to use shop tools + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Read and interpret Work Instruction’s to determine specific welding requirements + Weld horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions + Position and clamps parts together in fixture + Accurately count all pieces to ensure quality control of parts prior to welding + Operate welding equipment according to operating manual + Complete required paperwork in a correct and timely manner + Operate hoist and power lift stand + Load and unload jigs + Perform leak testing checks on finished welding products + Fabricate components for use in a solid oxide fuel cell electrical power generator + Maintain all machine shop equipment and 5S upkeep + Notify management of shop consumables (i.e., cutting oils, welding gasses, tooling, and bits, etc.) to maintain inventories + Create assembly and fabrication fixtures + Address and recommend improved methods for creating hardware and assemblies + Perform basic job functions as directed safely and efficiently + Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or Work Instructions exactly as written to produce a quality product + Perform other duties as assigned Schedule: + Monday-Thursday – 7:00am-5:30pm **Pay Details:** $27.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
