Overview

The Welder will be welding of rebar of all sizes. Fabricate rack brackets, supports and junction boxes, miscellaneous repairs to equipment, trailers and job shacks and other company owned items, equipment and vehicles. Specific responsibilities include:

Welding of rebar of all sizes.Fabricating rack brackets, supports, and junction boxes, as well as performing miscellaneous repairs to equipment, trailers, and job shacks.Assisting in prefabbing of any and all needed items. Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

Able to keep welding equipment and accessories in good working conditions.Reading of blueprints and schematics.Knowledge of welding machines (oil, fuel, etc.), torches, and helix arc equipment.Must have a valid driver's license (CDL).Certificates in MIG, TIG, and short arc applications.Needs to have basic tools to perform the job (hood, gloves, etc.).Must be able to report to assigned job site location on time as directed.Assist in the safe rigging of materials for installations.Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.High school diploma or GED.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.Well-versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 51 lbs.Repetitive use of arms, legs, hands, and fingers.Not afraid of heights.
