**Hiring Welder in Reading, PA** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled MIG Welders with experience in aluminum and steel welding. Candidates will be responsible for welding and assembling various parts, working off of blueprints, and collaborating with a small team to complete tasks. This role involves fabricating and assembling models such as special commodity, drop frame, dump bodies, frameless, 100-yard line floor, and slide eject. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on aluminum and steel materials. + Read and interpret blueprints to complete welding tasks. + Assemble components such as tailgates, floors, and chassis. + Weld body parts together, wire the body, and mount tires and decals. + Fabricate and assemble various models including special commodity, drop frame, dump bodies, frameless, 100-yard line floor, and slide eject. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding. + Experience with aluminum and steel welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Comfortable working in a union environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a fabrication shop. + Ability to work in a team of at least two. + Flexibility to perform various tasks beyond welding. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package through the union.
