**MIG Welder | Bolingbrook, IL** **1st & 2nd Shift | $20+ per hour** **Overview** Metal manufacturing company in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking to hire several experienced MIG welders. You will be responsible for taking stock and machined material and welding it together. You will perform a variety of welds at different angles. All parts will be for carwashes, but there are many different parts that go into a carwash, so the type of welds, materials, and thicknesses change frequently. Other duties outside of welding include some material handling, some grinding/polishing, and using a saw to cut material when necessary. **Responsibilities** + Take stock material and machined material and weld it together. + Perform MIG welds on stainless steel. + Utilize measurement tools to preform quality inspections. + Conduct material handling, grinding/polishing, and cutting material with a saw as needed. **Skills** + 2+ years of MIG Welding experience on stainless steel. + Experience with a variety of material thicknesses (3/16" - 1/4" ideally but not necessary). + Experience in a custom shop (not production welding). **Work Environment** The work environment is a very clean and organized manufacturing floor with plenty of space. It is quiet and well-lit.
