We are seeking Welders for our Fabrication Division in Locust, North Carolina.

JOB DUTIES:
The successful candidate will have experience completing welding tasks in an industrial production facility to produce customer fabrication orders accurately and on schedule. Must maintain high productivity and safety standards while adhering to all company safety protocols.
+ Read and work from blueprints and work instructions
+ Set up and operate hand and power tools common to welding functions
+ Move equipment and materials to and from workstations
+ Perform quality fit up for welding using tools such as fixture tables, straightedges, combination squares, calipers and tape measures
+ Inspect and measure workpieces for defects to ensure they meet specifications
+ Select and install torches, tips, and filler metals according to welding specifications and the type and thickness of metals
+ Identify and tag all products with job numbers, part numbers and other identifiers as required
+ Detect faulty equipment or defective materials and notify supervision
+ Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment
+ Perform other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
+ Minimum of two years GTAW (TIG) and MGAW (MIG) welding experience, performing welding on components in flat, vertical or overhead positions
+ The ability to pass 6G test and to weld carbon steel and stainless-steel materials are also required
+ The successful candidate must also have the ability to read blueprints; a high school education or equivalent is required
+ Ability to sit, stand and walk on a regular basis throughout the work schedule
+ Ability to carry and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds
+ We are seeking detail-oriented self-starters who are willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
