Our client, a well-established company in the Richmond, VA, area, is seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in TIG welding, including the ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and fixtures to set up and execute precise welds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of welding procedures and techniques, including working in all positions and utilizing rotary turntables for manual welding. This position requires keen attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The Day-to-Day:

Set up and lay out jobs using blueprints, diagrams, and fixtures to ensure accuracy and precision.Follow welding procedures to perform TIG welding in all positions, including the use of rotary turntables for manual welding.Inspect, maintain, and document preventative maintenance on welding and fabricating equipment.Set up and operate machines according to work instructions to trim, size, form, inspect, and GTAW (TIG weld) materials to meet fabrication drawing requirements.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.Extensive experience as a TIG Welder, with the ability to perform high-precision welds.Excellent attention to detail

Pay Rate/Shifts:

$28.00 /hr (Depending on experience)Monday to Thursday6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
