Roles and Responsibilities:

I. Essential Functions, responsibilities

Perform high-quality welding operations on various gas turbine components using a range of welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, and/or other various welding techniques as applicable.Interpret and work from engineering WPS, shop work instructions, and GE repair standards to achieve accurate and precise welds.Inspect and assess GE gas turbine components for any unserviceable defects and perform appropriate weld repair processCollaborate with other operators, supervisors, engineers, and other staff for daily operations.Adhere to all EHS procedures to maintain a safe working environment.Raise any concerns and/or stop works if observing any unsafe condition or quality risks during daily job.Participate in GE Lean Action Work Out (AWO) event.
 

II. Qualifications requirements

Minimum graduated from vocational high school with major of manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or other related disciplines.Have at least two years working experience in fabrication welding job with TIG method.Have experience with basic NDT & welding inspection.Can interpret and adhere to Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) document.Having welding certification would be a plus
