Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in fitting and working with structural steel, as well as the ability to read blueprints and perform heavy lifting.
ResponsibilitiesPerform welding tasks on structural steel components, including large and small parts.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.Utilize measuring tools to ensure precision in fitting and welding.Conduct heavy lifting as part of the fabrication process.Work with various materials including piping and perform MIG welding.Ensure all welding and fabrication tasks meet quality standards.Essential SkillsExperience with structural steel fitting, at least 1 year required.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency in using measuring tools.Capability to perform heavy lifting.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of welding experience preferred.Familiarity with fabrication processes and shop environment.Experience with MIG welding.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position is based in a mostly outdoor fabrication shop, where all steel structural products are created. The shop is one of the biggest in Bakersfield, providing a robust and exciting work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
