**Job Title: Welder** **Job Description** Candidates will be MIG welding on agricultural and transportation products. They also do a fair amount of TIG welding, but will provide training if needed. The role involves working off of a blueprint and laying out the product using jigs, fixtures, and clamps. You will need to set up and adjust the welding machine based on the metals and thicknesses. Approximately 80% of the welding is MIG, and 20% is TIG. Almost all of the welds are on 1/2" steel or smaller gauge. **Responsibilities** + Perform MIG welding on agricultural and transportation products. + Engage in TIG welding tasks with training provided if necessary. + Work off of blueprints and lay out products using jigs, fixtures, and clamps. + Set up and adjust welding machines based on metals and thicknesses. + Ensure welds are primarily on 1/2" steel or smaller gauge. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of MIG welding experience. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings. + Capability to set up own welding machine. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with TIG welding is a plus. + Strong attention to detail and precision in welding tasks. **Why Work Here?** The company is family-oriented and offers flexibility with schedules as long as the work is completed. The company provides opportunities for skill development and training, particularly in TIG welding. **Work Environment** The shop has recently expanded and employs about 40 people across both shifts. The hours are Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm for day shifts and 4:30pm-3:00am for night shifts, with Friday reserved for overtime. All positions will train on days for 3-6 weeks before transitioning to their designated shift, with a $2/hr differential for night shifts. Additionally, employees working the weekend shift will work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours if all 36 hours are completed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WEST FARGO, North Dakota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
