This team member is responsible for the successful execution of the application of trade skills to a wide variety of welding, fitting and custom fabrication and various other responsibilities. Basic fitting experience/knowledge 2. Performs welding operations as required by job specifications with SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW. 3. Knowledge of raw materials and understands MTR’s and electrode classifications. 4. Perform pre welding operations with saws, shears, automated cutting equipment for shaping and preparation. 5. Understand the use of weld inspection tools and their use. 6. Assist in dimensional verification checks. 7. Understands basic inspection of welds for discontinuities. 8. Performs advanced fabrication, documents measuring, etc. 9.
