**Job Title: Welder and Fitter** **Job Description** Join our team as a Welder and Fitter, where you will work in designated welding stations, read and interpret welding diagrams, and fit and weld structural steel sheets and tubes. Your expertise in MIG welding, including handling welds of 10mm+ width up to several feet, and grinding down welds, will be crucial. You will also operate various machines to form metal, inspect welds, and ensure that finished products meet weld diagram specifications. Other duties will be assigned as necessary. **Responsibilities** + Work in designated welding station. + Read and interpret welding diagrams. + Fit and weld structural steel sheets and tubes. + Perform MIG welding up to several feet in one weld with 10mm+ width. + Grind down welds and operate different machines to form metal. + Inspect welds and check finished products against weld diagram specifications. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of welding experience. + 5+ years of manual fitting experience. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting welding diagrams. + Ability to accurately take measurements and convert units of measurement. + Comfortable working in confined spaces, such as 4-5ft diameter cylinders. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with blueprint reading. + Proficiency in MIG, flux core, and TIG welding. + Knowledge of structure and machine parts. + Ability to handle tack welding and grinding. **Why Work Here?** We offer 100% company-paid benefits from day one, a generous contribution and matching plan after three months, and an annual profit-sharing bonus. The day shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
