Read and interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and shop orders to determine welding requirements.Select and set up appropriate welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) for various materials and thicknesses.Safely and efficiently perform various welding techniques (butt welds, fillet welds, lap welds, etc.) according to specifications.Inspect welds visually and with measuring tools to ensure quality and adherence to standards.Perform basic weld repairs as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.Perform basic housekeeping tasks as needed.Identify and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
