Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)Accurately interpreting technical drawings and specifications to understand the required assembly and welding procedures.Cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal components to ensure proper fit and welding quality.Precisely aligning and positioning metal parts for welding, using jigs, clamps, and other tools to maintain accurate dimensions.Performing various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding) to join metal components according to project specificationsInspecting welds for defects, ensuring proper penetration, and maintaining consistent quality standardsFinishing welds by grinding and smoothing to remove excess material and achieve desired aesthetics.Regularly cleaning and maintaining welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.Adhering to safety procedures, wearing appropriate protective gear, and following workplace safety regulations.Welder/Fitter Qualifications:
Proven proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding).Ability to accurately interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints. Metal fabrication knowledge.Skilled use of hand tools (e.g., files, calipers) and power tools (e.g., grinders, cutting torches).Perform other duties as assignedApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
