Welding II – Kapco Grafton, WI

If you are driven to succeed with a passion for the professional growth and development of others, our employee-focused company may have the right opportunity for you. Kapco Inc. is looking for Welder II on 1st shift at our Grafton, WI location.

Primary Responsibilities:

Sets up and performs welding on all welding operations. Successfully completes and maintains welding qualification for steel sheet and plate fillet and groove welding. Performs quality checks using proper measuring devices during operation and completes quality records. Stops production when quality issues are detected.  Completes all appropriate paperwork, including labels, accurately and completely. 

Qualifications:

Ability to perform complex welds, mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and understand blueprints.  Minimum of 2 years experience with GMAW and Arc Welding. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
