PURPOSE

 

The Welder Operator has a main focus on efficiency, dependability, and safety.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Responsible for joining and/or bonding components of fabricate metal products and assemblies Frequently tests welding and safety equipment Maintains and repairs all machinery when necessary

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)

 

One (1) Year experience with welding or related work

 

Or equivalent of education and experience
