Are you ready to take on the role of Welding Engineer for a major offshore construction project in Paris, France? As a certified welding inspector and offshore structural engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our client's project. Join our team and be a part of this exciting opportunity!
Role Overview Review supplier welding documentation and provide technical support for welding issues. Develop welding documentation for offshore structures and pipelines, both on-site and at fabrication yards. Coordinate welding qualifications for fabrication sites and provide technical support. Provide technical support for welding issues at fabrication sites. Travel to Paris and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines with possible spot missions at subcontractors. Skills & Qualifications Certified Welding Inspector with experience in offshore welding. Fluent in English for effective communication with international team members. Optional: Experience as a Welding Engineer with certifications in IWE, AWS D1.1, ASME IX, NORSOK M101, and DNV RP F101. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field preferred. Certifications in IWE or IWT required. Minimum 3 years of experience in welding engineering and offshore construction projects.
