Welding Inspector

We are looking for a knowledgeable and dedicated **Welding Inspector** to join our dynamic team in **Connecticut** . In this role, you’ll work closely with clients and contractors, contributing to the success of **natural gas distribution projects** while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards. As a **Welding Inspector** , you will conduct visual inspections of welds, review procedures and standards, and identify any defects or non-conformities. You will maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors, and team members while consistently delivering excellent client work. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fieldwork, thrives on solving challenges, and values teamwork. **This is a field-based role in Berks County, Pennsylvania with a focus on hands-on oversight and compliance.** **Responsibilities:** + Conduct visual inspections of welds on natural gas distribution projects in Connecticut to ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations. + Review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards to verify proper execution and adherence. + Identify, document, and report welding defects or non-conformities, recommending corrective actions as needed. + Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare detailed reports on welding quality and compliance. + Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. **Required Qualifications:** + Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification from the American Welding Society (AWS) or equivalent (CPWI). + High school diploma or GED. + Experience conducting welding inspections, preferably in natural gas distribution or pipeline projects. + Strong attention to detail, with the ability to assess welding quality and compliance. + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with clients and contractors. + Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record, as travel to job sites is required. **Preferred Qualifications:** + NACE certification or experience with coating inspections. + Familiarity with Connecticut’s regulatory requirements for welding inspections in natural gas projects. + Prior experience working with utility companies, pipeline operators, or gas distribution networks. **Why Join Us?** At ENTRUST Solutions Group, we offer more than just a job; we provide a pathway to impactful and fulfilling work.
