Our esteemed global client, a prominent Italian multinational in the oilfield services sector and a key player in the industry, is offering a remarkable position for a Saudi ARAMCO CBT approved Welding QC Supervisor. This role involves working on diverse Hook Up Vessel projects, traversing the vast oceans of the world, with current operations based in Saudi Arabia.
Job Summary:
Ensure the supervision of welding inspection activities and verify Quality Control Plans implementation.
Key Responsibilities: Check Quality Control Plans with reference to welding activities. Check the availability and adequacy of consumables and equipment / instrumentation used for welding execution and control. Verify that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved, calibrated, handled, identified and traceable. Support and check the evaluation of the qualifications of inspection personnel in charge of works, verify work procedures, including those relating to special processes. Support the definition of QC Information System rules. Supervise and witness inspections, check reports and documentation issued by inspectors and verify the collection of required Quality Records. Verify that tests, controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test Plans, checking the collection of relevant documentation also for the mechanical completion approval, and that personnel have access to all required project documentation.
Experience and Qualifications: Mandatory Requirements Saudi ARAMCO CBT passed in Welding & Piping or Pipeline. Minimum 3 years directly relating to supervision of construction activities in the Contract Scope of Work (e.g., oil, gas, Offshore Subsea pipeline, T&I activities). University Degree or equivalent with 7 years Inspection Experience or High School Diploma with 10 years of Inspection Experience. CSWIP 3.2.1 or IWC & NACE. Knowledge in Offshore Welding and Coating requirements.
