Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates for a Welding Supervisor position with a company in Erie, PA.  This is a Direct Hire, 2nd shift position with a competitive pay range.  
 

Welding Supervisor—non-union position

Shift: 2nd shift 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $55,000-$57,200/year   Salaried position.  40 hours per week.  Any additional hours worked over 40 will be paid straight time.

Additional Pay: There is profit sharing, which averages an additional $5,000 per year.  It has been as high as $12,000 and as low as $3000 per year. 

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the daily direction of employee's activities ensuring all welding procedures and practices are followed and training/development of new employees as required.

Must Haves

Welding supervisory experience preferred Welding experience A weld engineering degree is preferred but not required Knowledge of welding codes and specifications, non-destructive testing and heat treat treating practices helpful

Duties

Provide training, development and supervision of code welders Writing and qualifying weld procedures Selection of welding processes Ensuring all operating procedures and practices meet code requirements Employee training Other duties as assigned
