Well-being and Recognition Consultant - Human Resources (HR)

This is a remote/work from home position. Hire must live within the continental US and be open to working eastern time zone hours.

Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

The Well-being and Recognition Consultant (WRC) will support the strategy, development, implementation and evaluation of current and future well-being strategy across the Bon Secours Mercy Health ministry.  The Well-being programs and services the WRC will be assist with includes but is not limited to well-being, care management and navigation, health and lifestyle management programs, safety initiatives, pharmacy collaboration, caregiver well-being and recognition programs.  The WRC will support scalable and impactful programming and benefits, communications and various success metrics for the well-being and other related programs. 

Essential Job Functions

Partners on well-being and recognition program implementation including but not limited to awareness campaigns, healthcare consumerism, health education and promotion, onsite programs and resources using data to help to focus and tailor programming where modifiable risk factors exist and can help to better target interventions. 

Assists with implementation, evaluation and refinement of health, well-being and recognition programs and services through collaboration and innovation with internal and external partners.

Consults with key BSMH stakeholders regarding well-being, recognition and other related programs by delivering important messages, timely and strategic dashboards and other content to demonstrate program effectiveness.

Partners to develop and deliver caregiver well-being including but not limited to programs and solutions that address burn-out, resilience, second victim syndrome, secondary trauma and trauma informed care.

Engages and maintains a grassroots network of well-being and recognition champions to ensure the associate experience of programs is well-received and needs and interests are met. 

Supports and maintains external vendor partners, as well as develop and mature vendor and internal partner relationships on a day-to-day basis ensuring process and procedure aligns to overall goals. 

Ensures fidelity to health, well-being recognition and safety policies, processes, practices and programming across the Bon Secours Mercy Health ministry. 

Represents the various benefits offered through the Bon Secours Mercy Health Total Rewards strategy to BSMH leaders.  

Maintains awareness of industry trends, as well as regulatory environment, requirements and changes to ensure benefit delivery and reporting compliance and ensures compliance, as needed.

Licensing/Certification

CHES Certified Health Education Specialist (preferred)

Education

Bachelor of Science in Health Education or related field (required)

Master of Public Health or related field (preferred)

Work Experience

3-5 years of worksite well-being experience (preferred)
