The Wellness Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the Meditation Lounge, The Spa Locker Room & Bathroom and Salon. The Wellness Housekeeping Attendant will also be responsible for maintaining the Men and Women’s Fitness Locker areas, as well as answering questions and providing assistance to guests in the spa and wellness facilities.

Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday -Saturday 9am-5pm.

Compensation: $16 / hour plus gratuities.

 

Essential Functions of the Position:

Inspect and clean the Fitness Center Locker rooms every forty-five minutes or more often, as needed. Inspect and clean every 15 minutes or more often, as needed in the Men and Women’s Spa Lounges Inspect and clean every hour or as volume of business dictates, the Golden Door Villa’s bathroom. Ensure that all toilets within the Spa (Lounges and Golden Door Villa) and the Fitness Center Lockers are clean and presented to standard. Keep track of amenities within the Spa lounges and ensure that they are continually stocked to standard. Maintain the Hair and Nail Spa. Ensure that it is free of trash and that the floor is swept when necessary to ensure that it is free of debris. Ensure that glass doors are clean. Maintain the treatment rooms. When vacant, check to ensure that all trash cans are free of debris. Continuously check the surfaces of the Spa to ensure that they are free of dust and other foreign debris. Monitor all glass doors leading from the lobby, into the reception area and throughout the spa are clean and free of fingerprints. Monitor the Spa concierge reception to make sure that the surfaces are clean and that the trash cans are emptied when necessary. Continuously inspect the floors of the Spa, if a stain or scuff mark is observed, immediately take steps to clean it using designated products. Assist guests as required or refer them to the concierge reception. Be aware and observe any suspicious activity or individual that might endanger the security of the resort, guests or employees and report it immediately to security. Perform other related duties, as assigned. Practice safety standards and report any unsafe conditions. Ensure that all light bulbs within the Spa are functioning. Report any maintenance issues to the Concierge or management.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

High School degree or GED. Neat appearance and excellent personality. Ability to communicate effectively. Basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses.

Tools, Machines, and/or Equipment Used:

Designated cleaning equipment, brushes, dust pans and mops.

This position will care for spa and salon members assisting them with beverage service and general care. They will also oversee all facility laundry services as well as general areas for cleanliness.
