Job Title: Wetland Scientist

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Wetland Scientist with 5+ years of relevant industry experience. This role involves a mix of office and field work, providing an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, industrial, public, non-profit facility, and linear utility and transportation projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in environmental remediation, ecology, environmental construction, environmental compliance, soil characterization, restoration, habitat assessments, mitigation sites, and/or forest conservation plans.ResponsibilitiesConduct wetland delineation field work.Manage projects independently, including field work and project management.Handle wetland impact permitting.Utilize GPS, GIS, and AutoCAD for project tasks.Develop and maintain client relationships.Prepare reports and communicate findings effectively.Travel periodically for project needs.Essential SkillsBachelor's Degree in environmental science, biology, natural resources, or a related field.5+ years of related wetland experience, including wetland delineation field work, project management, and wetland impact permitting.Proficiency in GPS, GIS, and AutoCAD.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage projects independently.Ability to maintain and develop client relationships.Willingness to travel periodically.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in environmental remediation, ecology, environmental construction, environmental compliance, soil characterization, restoration, habitat assessments, mitigation sites, and forest conservation plansWork EnvironmentThe work environment includes a mix of office and field work. The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00
