Preferred Qualifications
Proficient with ESRI softwareProficient with Fieldmap data collection toolMinimum 4 years of experience conducting wetland and water resource delineations in a variety of ecoregionsExperience leading field crews in completing complex wetland and water resource delineationsBotanical identification experience in wetland and upland settings in the southern and/or central U.S. Experience conducting habitat assessments for federally protected species in Texas or adjacent statesPreparation of Section 10/404 permit application documents for submittal to the U.S. Army Corps of EngineersMaster’s degree in Environmental Science of closely related fieldRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Soil Science or closely related fieldExperience with Microsoft Office programsSelf-starter with excellent writing and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency with GIS and GPSAbility and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse environmental conditions (rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures)Requires ability to travelAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
